During work on a large netViz project, several modules were developed to add extra functionality. A particularly useful one was a module that lets you set the properties of multiple objects at the same time.
Some pages have up to 100 objects, all having the same value for fields such as site and building. Prior to developing this module, each object had to be separately selected and the value for each field entered.
With this module all the objects can be selected, the new field value entered, and any object with that field will get the new value.
It makes copying easy too. First select the object with the values you want, then select the others, and just press Enter to accept the values in the fields you want.
